Hans is founder and owner of Sustacon. With Sustacon he advises Flemish family businesses on (among other things) strategy, organisational development and sustainability. They specialise in advising companies to work more sustainably in the construction sector, but they also advise companies in other sectors. Besides his work at Sustacon, Hans is a part-time professor of Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Ethics at the University of Antwerp.

Companies like Foodmaker are fully optimised because they have a controlled production environment: they can control every part of it. Whereas a construction project is typically a collaboration of many partners with teams that usually only work in that constellation once in their lives. It is a relay of imperfection!
