Kwalis is known for inspiring projects in prime locations with sustainable architecture. The latter is where we, Bao Living, can play a role. They contacted us for the development of three studios in the center of Leuven. Kwalis works per project with a personalized approach, and therefore a personalized team. As they say, "Quality within everyone's budget."

The three studios, each measuring 33 square meters, are designed with our SAM. The SAM includes a bathroom unit on the inside and a kitchen and closet space on the outside. This creates a separation between the bedroom and living space, creating a spacious feeling. The studios are located in Leuven's Kortestraat, which couldn't be more downtown. This street, with a lot of historical value, is right next to the Grote Markt. The materials used in the studios are light and soft, allowing residents to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city for a while before stepping back into the cozy liveliness of Leuven.

At SAM, furniture is just the beginning. We take prefabrication to the next level by integrating even the complete arsenal of technology.

This project is also special for us because it is the first time we have used built-in air-source heat pumps in a SAM. Our SAM is fully equipped with all the necessary technology, from heating and ventilation to water and electricity, and now air-source heat pumps. These are neatly tucked away in the cabinets, providing a clean finished look, just as a SAM should be!
