Hestia engages Bao for 6 new SAM apartments
This project involves the new construction of an Art Deco apartment complex in Mol, where we installed SAMs in 6 of the 24 homes. The homes vary in type, with three one-bedroom apartments and two double-bedroom apartments.
Challenges
Due to the ambitious architecture, it was essential to maximize the return on investment of the rental units.
The builder sought to maximize the living space in these compact homes.
The realization of the project was subject to strict energy sustainability requirements.
Solutions
The additional 12.3% livable area and smart built-in storage allowed the builder to increase the rental yield by 8%, and all units were rented within two hours.
Thanks to the SAM concept, usable living space was increased by 12.3% without sacrificing comfort or functionality.
A full NIBE heat pump and ventilation system D were integrated on less than 2m², allowing us to meet the project's stringent sustainability requirements.
